easy berry sorbet

i love this one because not only is it super refreshing, but it's also super quick and easy to make! plus, you can use any frozen fruit you want to change up the flavor :)

 

 

yield: 4-6 scoops of ice cream

cook time: 5 min, or 35 min depending on preference

ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen fruit

  • 1/3 cup greek yogurt (i used low fat but full fat works as well!)

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and pulse until smooth and creamy. If it doesn't blend well at first, add 1-2 tbsp water, juice, or milk to help it start.

  2. Eat it right away, or freeze for at least 30 minutes to get a nice ice-cream-like consistency. Enjoy!

notes

  • if you freeze it for longer than 1-2 hours, you will need to let it sit out to soften before eating. another option is to re-blend the mixture to get it to a nice consistency.

  • pairs really well with granola! (i mean it basically is a frozen acai bowl after all lol)
