yields: 2 servings
- Ingredients -
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp hot water
2 tbsp miso paste
2 salmon fillets
- Instructions -
Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, hot water, and miso paste in a bowl
Cover the salmon fillets with the miso mixture and marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to overnight
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and brush a little vegetable oil on before laying the marinated salmon on top
Broil in oven for 10 minutes, or until salmon is fully cooked through
Serve with rice and roasted vegetables
- Tips -
Another way to cook the salmon is to bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes
Longer marination = more flavorful (but either way it's very yum)
Don't be afraid to use a lot of miso !! it tastes v good
Cooking time depends on size of fillet so check salmon frequently
