cheesy garlic bread

not the healthiest recipe but i mean it's cheesy garlic bread c'mon hahaha

 

 

ingredients

  • 1 french roll or baguette

  • 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)

  • Mix of shredded cheese: 1/3 cup parmesan, 1/3 cup sharp cheddar, 1/3 cup mozzarella

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper

  • parsley & red chili flakes, for garnish

  • marinara sauce, to serve

instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice a baguette in half and place on a large baking sheet.

  2. Soften butter by microwaving for 30-60 seconds at power level 3, or just leaving at room temperature for 20-30 minutes. Add softened butter, shredded cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper into a bowl and mix until evenly combined.

  3. Spread butter and cheese mixture on the baguette halves and toast in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown. If needed, broil on high for a minute to finish.

  4. Garnish with parsley and red chili flakes, and serve with marinara sauce. Enjoy!
